Titwood

Scotland v Namibia

10th July 2022

George Munsey's unbeaten 71 was the highlight of this Cricket World Cup League 2 win for Scotland; the home side sitting on a slightly wobbly 74/3 when the man came to the crease.  But Munsey's 94 run partnership with Calum MacLeod laid the foundation for Scotland's impressive total of 258.  A target Namibia only briefly looked like achieving.

But the quick loss of the wickets of Nicol Loftie-Eaton and then Lohan Lourens pretty much ended Namibia's resistance.  The Africans were all out for 181 in the 43rd over, giving Scotland a win by 77 runs.

Joe Public's entrance to Titwood Cricket Ground is off the wonderfully named Dolphin Road.

The executive entrance, however, in down Beaton Road.

I know it doesn't really matter too much in cricket,
but do we really need both sides to play in the same colours?

Ashamed to admit I do not know who this Scot is.

This, I am fairly sure, is Ruben Trumpleman

The overs have not been updated, but this is between innings.

The no longer needed (hopefully) number boards inside the box.
